Preamble

Conscious of the urgency and necessity to act to preserve our planet and promote a more just and benevolent world, we, the members of the Pirates' Union of Light & Love, hereby adopt this Act to guide our actions and commitments.

Name and headquarters

Our association is officially known as the "Pirates' Union of Light And Love". It is incorporated as a non-profit association under Swiss law.

Our headquarters are located in the canton of Valais, Switzerland. This is where we meet and coordinate our efforts to achieve our mission.

Mission

Our mission is to promote peace, love, justice and the preservation of the environment. We believe in a world where every individual is respected and has the opportunity to flourish. We strive to create an equitable and sustainable society, where natural resources are used responsibly and human rights are protected. Uniting the People of the World and all associations, etc.

Fundamental principles

Solidarity and benevolence

We believe in the solidarity of all human beings. We are committed to supporting those in need, defending the rights of the most vulnerable, and fighting all forms of injustice and discrimination with respect and kindness.

Non-violence

We reject all forms of physical, psychological or verbal violence. We believe in the peaceful resolution of conflicts and the promotion of dialogue and mutual understanding.

Respect for the environment

We are committed to protecting our planet and preserving its natural resources. We encourage the sustainable use of resources, the promotion of renewable energies and the reduction of our carbon footprint.

Gender equality

We fight for gender equality and the recognition of women's rights. We oppose all forms of gender-based discrimination and are committed to promoting women's empowerment and active participation in all areas of society.

Social Justice

We stand for social justice and equity. We oppose all forms of exploitation, marginalization and social discrimination. We are committed to promoting equitable access to resources and opportunities for all.

Activities and projects

To achieve our objectives, we organize various activities and projects:

Awareness-raising and education

We organize awareness-raising campaigns to inform and educate the public about social and environmental issues. We run workshops, conferences and debates to encourage critical thinking and awareness-raising.

Non-violent direct action

We carry out non-violent direct actions to draw attention to pressing issues and put pressure on political and economic decision-makers. These actions can include demonstrations, sit-ins, peaceful blockades, etc.
